  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper or more for heat
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Shrimp and Sauce
  • 1 lb extra large shrimp peeled, deveined, patted dry
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter divided
  • 1 medium yellow onion diced
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Pasta

Method

  1. Mix the Cajun seasoning ingredients and set aside a third for the sauce.

  6. Add the pasta and shrimp and toss, loosening with pasta water. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Cook shrimp to 145°F. Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of milk.
